Package: libnautilus-extension1 Version: 3.0.0-1 Severity: serious Hi,
libnautilus-extension1 (>= 3.0) links against GTK3, which changes its ABI, but doesn't bump/change the soname. As a result, if you do a partial upgrade, i.e. keep nautilus at 2.3x and update libnautilus-extension to 3.0, you'll get $ nautilus Gtk-ERROR **: GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and GTK+ 3 in the same process is not supported aborting... Abgebrochen As an example: I use GNOME 2 from unstable and installed g-d-u from exp today, which pulled libnautilus-extension1 from exp and the result was a broken nautilus.
