I've hit the same bug recently. However it's reproducible only on 64-bit architecture. 32bit works without problems. I'll move to 32bit for now but it would be great if 64-bit was fixed in Debian stable. Or would it be possible to ship (at least) 2.4.24 with 6.0.2 which supposedly fixes this issue?
