We had some problems with the new version of ecasound (it failed many builds). A new version that should have fixed all the issues has been uploaded yesterday evening (it's in NEW now). In the future libaudio-ecasound-perl should build depend on libecasoundc-dev instead of libecasoundc2.2-dev.
