Right, I also saw that on the buildds. I currently try to debug it on a mips box I recently got access to. The data format has not changed, so no data will be lost. For now you can either downgrade to the Sarge version (although that will get bumpy) or maybe migrate the server to another architecture (i386, amd64, powerpc, and some others work fine).
