Too late. However before I removed it I find -ls'ed it.
And saw some files from Apr 7, and some from very recently.
Also I tried for a little while rm -f /run; mkdir /run 
However apparently /run is supposed to be on a tmpfs or something,
from looking at postinstall or etc. control script.

Anyway, maybe this /run thing could be (destroyed if found and) created
fresh on a tmpfs upon each boot, so we never never have this problem again.
