You can for instance see the error in this log: https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=scotch&arch=i386&ver=5.1.11.dfsg-4&stamp=1301255277&file=log&as=raw The lex error can be found near the end, however, there are lots of other errors above this so I'm not sure where the problem lies.
