Package: feel++
Version: 0.90.0-2
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source
Automated builds of feel++ are failing, AFAICT because they typically
run with unwritable home directories:
CMake Error at feel/feelfilters/CMakeLists.txt:42 (file):
file problem creating directory: /home/buildd/feel/geo
CMake Error at feel/feelfilters/CMakeLists.txt:43 (file):
file COPY cannot copy file
"/build/buildd-feel++_0.90.0-2-i386-FlgGiA/feel++-0.90.0/feel/feelfilters/feel.geo"
to "/home/buildd/feel/geo/feel.geo".
I expect you should be able to work around those errors by running
cmake with HOME set to a directory you create within the build tree
(and clean up afterwards); however, you might also want to raise the
issue with upstream.
FWIW, it also complains about not being able to find some things, but
those don't appear to be as big a deal; certainly, I only see the two
explicit "Error"s.
Could you please take a look? You can find a full log at
https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=feel%2B%2B&arch=i386&ver=0.90.0-2&stamp=1300401117&file=log&as=raw
Thanks!
