Package: shared-mime-info Version: 0.90-1 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source
I am testing a server upgrade from Lenny to Squeeze on a virtual machine before carrying out the upgrade on the real hardware, when the apt-get dist-upgrade gets to a certain point, it fails. This seems to trace back to shared-mime-info which fails with the error 'undefined symbol: g_malloc0_n'. I have tried the squeeze version (0.71), the sid version (0.90) and also compiling from sources (0.90), all fail with the same error.
