I am aware, and waiting for a new upstream release that was promised to arrive last week. it is supposed to fix this and a number of other issue that made any upstream release after 5.6.1 inferior to this one. I cannot give a better estimate of when a new upload will happen, but it is not forgotten. Fixing this particular issue in this outdated version is a bit of a waste of time as it looks like that upstream did major changes to the build-system.
