Package: acerhk-source
Version: 0.5.35-8
Severity: serious
Tags: upstream
Justification: fails to build from source

using module-assistant to build the module hangs at the step "build".

the problem is due to the relocation of the file utsrelease.h ( now located at
<kernel_src>/include/generated/utsrelease.h - see Makefile KERNELVERSION
variable )

when this problem is corrected, the build-step will indeed terminate - but a
compile error is raised.

applying the patch from
  http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=2728
labeled "2.6.36.patch"
(http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/acerhk/acerhk/2.6.36.patch) resolves this
problem...

with these corrections i was able to build the module; on my laptop the module
works as expected.

regards,
florian
