That doesn't help! - you provide almost no detail of your system.
Could you use reportbug to submit such comments in future please? It
would be helpful to at least check that your installed dependency
versions match those already listed in the bug report. Any .procmeterrc
file(s) would be helpful too. (I've none, like the original submitter
- this could be important if only we knew whether it is relevant.)

Julien has already indicated that procmeter3 will be removed from
Squeeze unless this is fixed and we now have two different segmentation
faults recorded in this bug. Just because these are not seen on other
systems doesn't mean we can call this fixed. (The seg fault in the
-xaw version on my system is certainly reproducible but the -gtk2
version works reliably.)

I've recorded the versions of dependencies installed on the test system
in comment #10 in the bug report. It would be helpful to see if systems
which do not seg fault have different versions or an extra package
installed.

It seems odd that procmeter3-gtk2 works fine on this system -
indicating that this may not be down to differences in /proc itself.

In the absence of *useful* feedback from those who claim that the
package works normally, I think procmeter3 should be removed from
Squeeze as it is showing fragility / intermittent breakage sufficient
to make it unusable for an appreciable portion of users.
