If I try to compile the source without installing gnome-pkg-tools I get:

Then don't do that.

Package: librsvg2
Binary: librsvg2-bin, librsvg2-2, librsvg2-common, librsvg2-dev
Version: 2.9.5-4
Priority: optional
Section: libs
Maintainer: Josselin Mouette <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Build-Depends: cdbs, debhelper (>=3D 4.1), libxml2-dev, libpopt-dev (>=3D 1=
=2E5), libart-2.0-dev, libgtk2.0-dev (>=3D 2.4.1-3), libpango1.0-dev (>=3D =
1.4.0-3), libgnomeprintui2.2-dev, libpopt-dev, libgsf-1-dev, gnome-pkg-tool=
s, libcroco3-dev, gtk-doc-tools, mozilla-dev [!hurd-i386], libxt-dev

Running "debian/rules binary" doesn't check the build-dependencies --
but that's not the package's fault.
