Hi, While testing the installation of all packages in unstable, I ran into the following problem: > -- Removing all dependencies: OK > Reading package lists... > Building dependency tree... > Reading state information... > Starting > Starting 2 > Investigating (0) perl-modules [ amd64 ] < 5.10.1-16 > ( perl ) > Broken perl-modules:amd64 Depends on perl [ amd64 ] < 5.10.1-16 > ( perl ) > (>= 5.10.1-1) > Considering perl:amd64 10001 as a solution to perl-modules:amd64 2 > Removing perl-modules:amd64 rather than change perl:amd64 > Investigating (0) update-inetd [ amd64 ] < 4.38 > ( admin ) > Broken update-inetd:amd64 Depends on libfile-temp-perl [ amd64 ] < none > ( > none ) > Considering perl-modules:amd64 2 as a solution to update-inetd:amd64 0 > Removing update-inetd:amd64 rather than change libfile-temp-perl:amd64 > Done > The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required: > adduser > Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them. > The following packages will be REMOVED: > ifupdown libfile-copy-recursive-perl libgdbm3 net-tools netbase perl > perl-modules update-inetd > 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 8 to remove and 0 not upgraded. > After this operation, 36.9 MB disk space will be freed. > (Reading database ... 7752 files and directories currently installed.) > Removing ifupdown ... > Removing update-inetd ... > Removing libfile-copy-recursive-perl ... > Removing net-tools ... > Removing netbase ... > Removing perl ... > Removing perl-modules ... > Removing libgdbm3 ... > -- Purging package: FAILED > (Reading database ... 6310 files and directories currently installed.) > Removing ident2 ... > Purging configuration files for ident2 ... > /var/lib/dpkg/info/ident2.postrm: 39: update-inetd: not found > dpkg: error processing ident2 (--purge): > subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 127 > Errors were encountered while processing: > ident2 The full build log is available from: http://people.debian.org/~lucas/logs/2010/11/20/ident2.log It is reproducible by installing your package in a clean chroot, using the debconf Noninteractive frontend, and priority: critical. This test was carried out using about 50 AMD64 nodes of the Grid'5000 platform. Internet was not accessible from the nodes. -- | Lucas Nussbaum | lu...@lucas-nussbaum.net http://www.lucas-nussbaum.net/ | | jabber: lu...@nussbaum.fr GPG: 1024D/023B3F4F | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
