Package: flashplugin-nonfree
Version: 1:2.8.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Adobe has again updated their flash player version 10 (now dated Nov. 11, 2010)

Attempting to install gives the following error:

   ERROR: sha512sum rejected install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz
More information might be available at:
     http://wiki.debian.org/FlashPlayer

For this package to be usable for any period of time, it needs to not use
a fixed built-in checksum (which I assume is the source of the error).
Otherwise, it could be broken again by Adobe doing a new release the day
after this is fixed, or the day of the next Debian release for that matter.

Possibly it could give a warning on checksum error and allow the user to
decide whether or not to install rather than failing outright. I realize
there are potential problems with this approach too, but the current approach
is badly broken and this might make it less of a problem. FWIW.
