I have a plan to NMU the package for pending localization bugs. I can apply this as well unless a maintainer objects. Please note that #599937 also needs to be addressed (it should be done by uploading the version from experimental, from what I understand). It would be good to have a word from the maintainer(s) about all this. It's not like MySQL is a random package where stupi dmistakes can be done.
