You keep saying this, you keep sending email about this since ages. You even complain that nobody does this for you. I say, just do it, finally. The dash package will benefit from this too, if you manage to do it right. You know, I know how to do it. BUT, in my case, I'm afraid the Debian people won't like it, and, while I'm willing to do the code, I'm not willing to end up in endless discussions until the design is accepted, if at all.
