Hi, I'm trying to solve #587290, i.e. yaboot.conf being generated with strange values. You advised that yabootconfig be fixed, but actually I discovered that it's not its fault : it correctly handles labels/uuids, see my last answer at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=580455
You mentioned that linux-base may modify /etc/yaboot.conf. I think it might be the culprit for this bug, but I would first like to know how and why it does that ? I am investigating linux-base right away and will report any clue on this problem.
