Sorry, all I have kept is the log file.  The chroots are deleted
automatically.  I do notice the problem was no longer present
2010-08-01, at least not according to the log.  Perhaps the problem
was with some other package?

Looking at the diff of the two logs, I am starting to suspect the
problem might have been with the chroot removal, and that the real
issue was that the install/upgrade was done on top of an existing
chroot.  In that case, this report is probably bogus.  You failing to
reproduce it also is an indication of this.

As neither you nor me can reproduce it, I suggest to close this issue
until someone can. :)
