Boyd Stephen Smith Jr. realized that this might very well become a problem for "normal" branch upgrades from Lenny to Squeeze. If Squeeze libc6 upgrade processing happens before the upgrade of the prelink binary (and I think it does, since I believe libc6 upgrades happen rather early during an upgrade operation, before many other packages), we're ending up with the critical constellation during a normal upgrade as well. And since on a P3/500/512, a full Ubuntu upgrade I did once took >> 8 hours (possibly even longer with more modern installations), due to the slow performance there's a rather high chance to hit the cron.daily 24 hour processing's race window.
