Thanks for reportig back! Could you check with strace where it's
hanging? You don't have any calendars defined in that fresh account? Do
you do any setup after the first start of icedove?

It works fine here. Is there something in .xsession errors? Does moving
away the profile do anything good? Maybe the remote calendarserver did
