Package: ecb
Severity: serious
Justification: uninstallable

The current version of ecb is uninstallable in a Debian sid system,
unfortunately.

Also, the last update of this package was about 4 years ago. Would it be
a good idea to update it?

Regards,

Indeed, I can't reproduce this. The problem that I was seeing, BTW, was
that the version of ecb in sid forcibly pulled in semantic, cedet and so on.

But cedet is already included in Emacs 23.2 and I was seeing files being
overwritten (only could install it with dpkg with --force-* stuff).

I just checked and a new version of cedet was uploaded by Jari Aalto in
the meantime: http://packages.qa.debian.org/c/cedet.html

Since I am not seeing it anymore, I am closing the bug, but the package
has all the likeliness of being broken again if the dependencies are not
kept tidy.

Thanks,
