Thanks for looking into this issue! I've now tried to build the package on three machines, each with an up to date sid cowbuilder chroot. Results: - "desktop" (i386): still fails - "laptop" (i386): same failure - "server" (amd64): builds Trying on "desktop", this time in a pbuilder chroot: fails again.
