This is a wierd bug and I'm very frustrated by it. Everything seems to work in the main tab; but if one clicks on any URI that is to open in a child tab it will result in the cursor just spinning. This doesn't seem to affect an URI clicked on the first time after launching the application. Subsequent attempts do fail however. When the above behaviour exhibts itself, upon quitting chromium these tasks continue running gobbling up memory.
