Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately i did not have time to investigate, and this morning update to 2.88dsf-9 does not reproduce the issue. So let's consider it fixed. Also i don't think it was an obsolete script, running dpkg-query only showed that some .dpkg-old files where left in init.d. I still can provide the outputs you asked, if you want them.
