Package: emacs23 Version: 23.2+1-2 Severity: serious X-Debbugs-CC: debian-i...@lists.debian.org
On ia64, emacs23 keeps failing with a weird error message: ,---- | Compiling /build/buildd-emacs23_23.2+1-2-ia64-bO1bIr/emacs23-23.2+1/debian/build-x/lisp/progmodes/cc-styles.el | | In toplevel form: | progmodes/cc-fonts.el:76:27:Error: Symbol's function definition is void: t `---- I suspect that the 76 refers to the line number in cc-fonts.el, which reads (cc-require-when-compile 'cc-langs) and the 27 to the line number in cc-langs.elc (cc-langs.el has only comments there, and it has already been byte-compiled). It would be interesting to know what cc-langs.elc looks like. For the record, starting with 23.1+1-6 all versions of emacs23 did FTFBS on ia64 with similar errors. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
