Package: libmysql-java
Version: 5.1.10+dfsg-2
Severity: serious
Justification: Regression and release critical

This works under Lenny like a charm.

Under Squeeze i get the error message "Communications link failure."

It happens as I tested it with the Debian version of openOffice.org as I tested
it with the vanilla version under Squeeze.

Hi

I am closing this bug, since it does not appear to have been closed
properly (looking at the BTS).

The sum of what happened: the issue turned out to be related #560056
(the JVMs being unable to handle sockets correctly with the change of
netbase) and the bug was therefore reassigned to openjdk-6.

Please note that sun-java6 is still affected by this, but since we do
not have the source for it we cannot fix it.

~Niels
