Hello David, I know about this bug (in principle) but I do not have
access to a sid system to build new packages until mid September.

Furthermore, this package hit a nasty gcc 4.0 bug (#309210), which is
not marked as fixed. It can probably be worked around, but
I don't think we can release etch with known gcc optimisation bugs on 
x86 anyway.
