A simple recompile-only NMU (1.12-1.0.1) built against testing fixes this
for alpha.

It's not at all clear from the build logs what went wrong here; but
presumably binNMUs for all architectures would work.

Since 5/11 archs have the problem, a sourceful fix may be possible, but
won't propagate to testing until the new version of glibc also reaches
testing.
