hi, there appears to be some sort of incompatibility between vboxvideo
and the latest kernel.  after installing the 2.6.32-4 kernel, X will no
longer start.

i have checked the differences between the Xorg.0.log file under, and it
appears to just hang on 2.6.32-4 just after the lines:

  OpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0 drm
  OpenDevice: open result is 12, (OK)

but on 2.6.32-3, the log continues to completion.  below is the
2.6.32-4 log, which has no specific errors:
