Hello Having kmail set as my default mailer, the newlines work (kmail opens a new mail with the newline okay)
Here is the debug output : > XDG_UTILS_DEBUG_LEVEL=99 xdg-email --body "$(printf foo\\nbar)" > Running kmailservice "mailto:?body=foo%0D%0Abar"; I think kmailservice or xdg-mail are not in fault, but icedove is instead. Cheers -- Xavier Vello
