Package: abntex
Version: 0.9~beta2-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

abntex should depend on or at the very least recommend
texlive-fonts-recommended. Without texlive-fonts-recommended, every compilation
using the document class abnt fails.

When trying to compile anything that uses the abnt document class, the
compilation fails with lots of references to missing fonts and missfont.log is
generated. This file contains the line "mktextfm ptmr7t".

If I install texlive-fonts-recommended, I'm able to compile those files just
fine.

I believe this problem started a couple months long ago, when there were some
major updates to texlive packages (diversions).

Here's how you can reproduce it:

1) Install abntex, make sure texlive-fonts-recommended is not installed.

2) Follow the instructions at the following URL to test the installation (I can
provide instructions in English if necessary):

http://abntex.codigolivre.org.br/node7.html

If you don't have texlive-fonts-recommended, this is what you'll get when you
first run "latex":

(/usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/psnfss/ot1ptm.fd)
kpathsea: Running mktextfm ptmr7t
/usr/share/texmf/web2c/mktexnam: Could not map source abbreviation for ptmr7t.
/usr/share/texmf/web2c/mktexnam: Need to update ?

If you do have texlive-fonts-recommended installed, running latex, bibtex,
latex and then latex again works just fine.
