I note that this bug is tagged as serious, which it isn't -- it might be serious in Ubuntu, but in Debian it's not even a bug. Despite that, I've taken the patch, and it's in my git tree. I just didn't see any urgent need to upload it -- I'd prefer if you removed your NMU. I'll change it's priority to wishlist, and the patch will be in my next upload, which will be when the upstream dose another release. I really don't see any purpose to pushing in a version just for this, as Ubuntu will only have to remove their patch, so it actually inflicts extra work on them. Feel free to try to persuade me otherwise, of course.
