Yes, I think so. libswmhack only causes 'more of the same' problems
if .xsession-errors is to be believed. I went for that conclusion at
first, because Marco Peereboom had told me the behaviour I saw could be
caused by a missing or faulty libswmhack.

I have an ATI video card, running with the free RadeonHD driver, so
that can't be it.
