[Luk Claes] > Default gcj is already 4.4. I was misled by packages.debian.org, particularly the 'gcc-defaults' changelog which mentions switching to gcj-4.3 but does not mention switching to gcj-4.4. The correct information exists there if only I'd followed the dependency chain correctly, but I find it confusing.
