Thanks Andreas, I'll make sure that the patch and explanation get sent
upstream, since the fix doesn't seem to be in the new release I just grabbed.

I'll also look into the IEEE issue and either send upstream a patch or notify
them of the problem.

Hopefully a fixed upload of the latest release isn't too far off, but I'll keep
you updated.
