Package: nfs-common
Version: 1:1.2.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Updated just now, and getting these results:

    Selecting previously deselected package libtirpc1.

    Unpacking libtirpc1 (from .../libtirpc1_0.2.0-2_amd64.deb) ...

    Preparing to replace lintian 2.2.18 (using

    Stopping NFS common utilities: idmapd statd.
    Starting NFS common utilities: statd failed!
    Setting up nfs-kernel-server (1:1.2.1-1) ...
    Installing new version of config file /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server ...
    Stopping NFS kernel daemon: mountd nfsd.
    Unexporting directories for NFS kernel daemon....
    Not starting NFS kernel daemon: no support in current kernel. ... (warning).

Looks like I'm still getting the "no support in current kernel" error in
'nfs-kernel-server' as well. FYI, this is a self built kernel:

    CONFIG_NFS_FS=y
    CONFIG_NFS_V3=y
    # CONFIG_NFS_V3_ACL is not set
    # CONFIG_NFS_V4 is not set
    CONFIG_NFSD=y
    CONFIG_NFSD_V3=y
    # CONFIG_NFSD_V3_ACL is not set
    # CONFIG_NFSD_V4 is not set
    CONFIG_NFS_COMMON=y

Reverting to last working versions gives me NFS back:

    Selecting previously deselected package librpcsecgss3.

    Unpacking librpcsecgss3 (from librpcsecgss3_0.19-2_amd64.deb) ...

    Unpacking replacement nfs-kernel-server ...

    Processing triggers for man-db ...
    Setting up nfs-kernel-server (1:1.2.0-4) ...
    Installing new version of config file /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server ...
    Stopping NFS kernel daemon: mountd nfsd.
    Unexporting directories for NFS kernel daemon....
    Exporting directories for NFS kernel daemon....
    Starting NFS kernel daemon: nfsd mountd.

Have had to revert the last two sets of NFS packages appearing in the
repository:  1.2.0-4.1 and now 1.2.1-1

Sorry to throw this monkeywrench into your efforts...
Dave W.
