Hi, first of all: I'm CC'ing the perl maintainers as I'm somehow suspecting a bug in perl itself.
OK, here is the situation: ftpmirror segfaults as soon as you start it. After spending some time with debugging I wasn't really able to find the place where the SEGFAULT happens. OK, the last function it executes (according to the backtrace) but thats all I was able to find out, yet. Apart from this: If a script language bails out with a SIGSEGV this seems a lot like a interpreter bug to me. Comments (especially from the perl maintainers :) appreciated.
