Sorry for the late response. I talked with some xmms2 guys and we came to following conclusion: Version 0.6DrMattDestruction-6 failed due to eglibc (that indicates the config.log). xmms2 uses a local copy of waf for building. Therefore xmms2 0.6DrMattDestruction-7 failed not due to waf. It's a bug in an underlying package.
