Indeed, the bug is the same as 534804, which is marked as solved. (?) After studying for a while the way that xdm (which i use as display manager) works i realized that /usr/bin/x-session-manager is a symbolic link to /etc/alterantives/x-session-manager, which in turn links to /usr/bin/lxsession instead of /usr/bin/startlxde. One may fix the problem by making x-session-manager point to startlxde script (global way), or by creating a ~/.xsession file with "/usr/bin/startlxde" line (per user way).
