yeah, this hard failure is because of a race condition in xvfb-run
(reported in debian bug #521075). I have a workaround for that in place
in t/run.sh in the xdotool source, but the workaround is far from
perfect (esp. if the machine is under heavy load, or if other things are
concurrently launching xvfb sessions).
Thanks for the report, though. any suggestions on how to resolve it?
