The changes to configure are due to the changed m4 files, not as a result of
any changes needed in configure.ac, if that's what you mean.  Both
configure.ac and aclocal.m4 are input files for generation of configure.

Ok, I'll go ahead with the upload.  Hopefully gcc-4.0 can be fixed soon
enough that you won't have to bother with a more detailed check for this
particular bit of m68k brokenness.
