Swami homepage is http://swami.resonance.org/trac . Swami 0.9.x (which is in Debian) is listed at [1] as being "old and abandoned". The upstream development version uses GTK 2.6, and is listed as not not quite ready for public consumption [1] http://swami.resonance.org/trac/wiki/Download If you look at the svn repository, not much is happening, but if you click on "Timeline" on their wiki (and go back 90 days from current), there are entries for October [2] and November 2009, so they are not completely dead.
