Package: pppoeconf
Version: 1.19
Severity: serious

Unless launched as root, pppoeconf tries obtaining root privileges via gksu,
sudo or su-to-root (from the menu package). This would be OK since pppoeconf is
in /usr/sbin/, except a menu item always displayed offers to launch and will
fails if none of menu, sudo and gksu is installed, opening a console which
prints

Privilèges du superutilisateur indispensables
Veuillez valider pour continuer...

In English, that would be
$ LANG=C /usr/sbin/pppoeconf
Please become root before running pppoeconf!
Press return to continue...

This is a follow-up for #548231, where I incorrectly assumed that the menu item
would only work for the root user. Thank you for adding gksu support, but I
personally use kdesu.
