Looking at the buildd build logs, I realise now that there are two separate FTBFS issues. One is #319303 and the other is #319410. I had seen #319410, but forgotten about it by the time I NMU'd. #319410 is also invisible in practical terms to me because this bug hasn't entered sid on my architecture yet. Which explains why it didn't hit me in the face before I uploaded.
