You are completely wrong or elaborate and give us some more examples.

Certainly not. kdenlive or videocut (and I can list others as kino or
openmovieeditor) are working perfectly here and I don't see bug reports
in the BTS saying that.

Please don't do that. As today at least 14419 Debian users from unstable
are using my packages, so my packages aren't so broken.

See debian-multimedia-keyring, libxvidcore4, libfaac0 or libmp3lame0
packages here :

Also without my packages kdenlive can't encode files in the following
formats : no mp3, no aac, no h264, no xvid, no mpeg2, etc...

Without these formats kdenlive is useless.
