Package: drivel
Version: 3.0.0-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source

I'm setting this bug so that it's clear why this is happening and that a
fix is being tested.

The 3.0.0 release didn't properly disable the --enable-compile-warnings
option in configure.ac due to an overlap with the GNOME macros.

I'm testing a Debian patch and the full fix will be in the next upstream
release.

The actual fault is the -Wcast-align should not appear in the Debian
package builds, only in local test builds. The warning is tripped when a
GtkSpinButton is cast from GObject or from GtkWidget. Currently
affecting sparc, mips, mipsel and armel.

The error message is:
dialogs.c:1130: error: cast increases required alignment of target type
