Dear maintainer,
I've prepared an NMU for serpentine (versioned as 0.9-6.1) and uploaded
it to DELAYED/2, according to devref §5.11.1. The diff that you can find
attached fixes the two RC bugs related to obsolete dependencies (after
having actually checked the appropriateness of the new dependencies).
I'm aware, from other bug logs, that you intend to dismiss serpentine,
but quite frankly given its high popcon I humbly think it would be
batter to wait for Squeeze+1, given the very high popcon. That, of
course, is feasible only if it is not too resource-consuming to keep
serpenting RC-bug free and this NMU goes precisely in that direction.
