Looks like the scenario when /var/lib/openoffice/basisX.Y/program/services.rdb got corrupted. Try apt-get install --reinstall openoffice.org-core And reinstall also the packages touching that file (-evolution, -kab, -filter-binfilter) when you have them installed after that. In some rare cases services.rdb can get corrupted, no we've yet not found out why. Did you do a upgrade of OOo while OOo was running? Obviously that's a bad idea.... I am closing this bug because it's probably that corrupted file. That the file can get corrupted is an other story but that's also handled in an other bug (#546723; beginning from message #27).
