Package: gparted Version: 0.4.6-2 Severity: serious gparted depends on gksu in its menu item /usr/share/applications/gparted.desktop : Exec=gksu /usr/sbin/gparted
However, gparted only recommends gksu. Under KDE, this causes the menu item to quietly fail to launch gparted when gksu is not installed. --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 Debian Release: squeeze/sid 990 testing security.debian.org 990 testing ftp.ca.debian.org 500 unstable ftp.ca.debian.org 1 experimental ftp.ca.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ==================================================-+-============================ libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6~) | 2.9-25 libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) | 1:4.4.1-1 libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.12.0) | 2.20.5-1 libglibmm-2.4-1c2a (>= 2.19.8) | 2.20.1-1 libgtk2.0-0 (>= 2.8.0) | 2.16.6-1 libgtkmm-2.4-1c2a (>= 1:2.16.0) | 1:2.16.0-2 libpangomm-1.4-1 (>= 2.24.0) | 2.24.0-3+b1 libparted1.8-12 (>= 1.8.8.git.2009.06.03-1) | 1.8.8.git.2009.07.19-5 libsigc++-2.0-0c2a (>= 2.0.2) | 2.0.18-2 libstdc++6 (>= 4.2.1) | 4.4.1-1 hal | 0.5.13-3 Recommends (Version) | Installed =========================-+-=========== gksu | Suggests (Version) | Installed ============================-+-=========== xfsprogs | 2.9.8-1lenny1 reiserfsprogs | reiser4progs | jfsutils | ntfsprogs | 2.0.0-1 dosfstools | 3.0.5-1 yelp | kpartx | dmraid | dmsetup | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
