Package: ircd-irc2 Version: 2.11.2p1+dfsg-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
When I try to start ircd, I get this error message: opening stream socket irc.localhost:Address family not supported by protocol Fatal Error: No working P-line in ircd.conf According to my readings, it's because ipv6 is enabled in ircd ... but (maybe) not in my custom kernel. If I replace "%" by ":" ... I get the following error message: Fatal Error: No working P-line in ircd.conf If I compile the source package (apt-get source ircd-irc2) it works ok with the ":" config file. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ircd-irc2 depends on: ii libc6 2.9-26 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-15 compression library - runtime ircd-irc2 recommends no packages. ircd-irc2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
